Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the COPY PASTA Chrome extension and related website at getcopypasta.com (collectively, the “Service”). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Description of the Service
COPY PASTA helps you extract order information from supported eBay and Amazon pages in your browser and send formatted rows to a Google Sheet you configure. Features may include manual send, automatic send, column mapping, and Google sign-in.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Your account and Google sign-in
Some features require you to sign in with Google. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account and device
- All activity that occurs under your Google account in the Service
- Ensuring you have permission to access and write to the Google Sheet you configure
You may sign out or revoke the extension’s access through the extension or your Google Account permissions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party terms (including eBay, Amazon, or Google policies)
- Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or abuse the Service, our backend, or third-party APIs
- Use the Service to collect, store, or transmit data you are not authorized to access
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Service to harm others
You are solely responsible for how you use order data extracted from third-party websites and for compliance with marketplace and tax rules that apply to your business.
Your content and Google Sheet
Order data read from pages you open and rows written to your Google Sheet remain under your control. You grant us only the permissions needed to operate the Service when you sign in and configure a spreadsheet.
We do not guarantee that extracted fields are complete, accurate, or suitable for accounting, tax, or legal purposes. You should review data before relying on it.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with Google (OAuth, Google Sheets, and related APIs), eBay and Amazon pages you visit, and our hosted backend. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or policies.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every eBay or Amazon page layout.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COPY PASTA AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and revoking Google access. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
